I just finished a week long event for my business development and one of the mentors gave me some advice that at first thought was not an option for me. After thinking more about it, I realized that it was a must for me.
Have you ever taken a 4 day seminar or a week long seminar and then returned home to most likely being enthusiastic, and overwhelmed at the same time? Well, after a week long event, early mornings and late, late nights of company presentations for growth expansion and capital raising, I am exhausted to say the least. I have hundreds of names to follow up with and I just moved into a new place with boxes around me everywhere.
I worked all today and will work until 3 pm tomorrow and then I will take the rest of the week off to let the dust settle and let magic happen by not thinking more about all of it. My mind and body need some major rest of which I will grant them.
Faith in the process is what I will employ and know that all that is meant to be, will be and my taking time for myself to rest, rejuvenate and get back to my energetic and alive self is well needed and deserved.
Treat yourself with kindness in some way this week. I am going to get a massage, take a hot bath each night and go to the beach!
Enjoy!

Being known as The 'Naked' Vegan
Well, I would put it more like "You may help someone live, possibly yourself, someday, with your raw power".
Uncooked: raw meat.
Being in a natural condition; not processed or refined: raw wool. See Synonyms at crude.
Not finished, covered, or coated: raw wood. See Synonyms at rude.
Not having been subjected to adjustment, treatment, or analysis: raw data; the raw cost of production.
Untrained and inexperienced: raw recruits.
Recently finished; fresh: raw plaster.
Having subcutaneous tissue exposed: a raw wound.
Inflamed; sore: a raw throat.
Unpleasantly damp and chilly: raw weather.
Cruel and unfair: a raw punishment.
Outspoken; crude: a raw portrayal of truth.
Powerfully impressive; stark: raw beauty; raw talent.
Nude; naked. Idiom:in the raw
In a crude or unrefined state: nature in the raw.
Nude; naked.
I became known worldwide as The ‘Naked’ Vegan because I share how to live a lifestyle with my Ultimate LiveStyle Program that embraces living more simply, with ease, balance and synergy in all areas of our lives. It is a stripped down perspective, with being raw in every way as the focus so we can just be in the moment, much more easily. Learn more if you are interested at http://www.thenakedvegan.com/ where I share about retreats, events and free recipes for healthy living.
With my background prior to health education, I was as a fashion designer who assisted in hiding the parts people did not want to have exposed. I know that a truly beautiful person is not just the clothing and style we portray, but the amount of whole healing nutrients in every shape and form we put into our bodies. True vitality, beauty, youth and longevity start with a focus on the inside, with our inner body and mind. All health initiates in the mind and follows a directed mind for results from mainly the other-than-conscious or subconscious level of the mind.
What does naked really mean?
adj.
Having no clothing on the body; nude.
Having no covering, especially the usual one: a naked sword.
Devoid of vegetation, trees, or foliage: the naked ground; naked tree limbs.
Being without addition, concealment, disguise, or embellishment: the naked facts; naked ambition.
Devoid of a specified quality, characteristic, or element: a look that was naked of all pretense.
The definition that resonates with what I am sharing is this:
adj.
devoid of elaboration or diminution or concealment; bare and pure; "naked ambition"; "raw fury"; "you may kill someone someday with your raw power" [syn: raw]

These past 14 years engrossed as a student and still a continual student of healing for myself and others, I have found the primary source of all ailments, pain, suffering and disease is found in the mind. The mind is so powerful it creates miracles they say that cannot be explained with any research, studies or tests.
The latest Jetson's-style Mind Re-programming is what I have been working on to provide the best in healing potential. This is a just launched device as well as my 4 new collections of audio CDs and processes available on the device.
Coaching is great and needed to move us from point A to point B and so on. This reaches down and uses mind power instead of the old will power that seems to only work for 1% of people. Will power just does not cut it because it is at the conscious level of the brain. All results occur at the level that is other-than-conscious, the creative part of our brain.

Do you have a good name?
So what is in a name? We hear that branding is so essential to whatever we want to be succesful in. Then we hear no it is the logo or is that the brand? And then we hear and see how brands that are a person can be switched overnight to "formerly known as..." and still be just as powerful known as the former brand.
This is all so confusing to me as I focus my name Kimberly Mac, which was my fashion house or Atelier en france (can't find an accent sign on this thing??) and hear how strong a brand it is. So I created www.kimberlymac.com, initially, as my educational site for resources of information, tips and tools about living a healthy lifestyle. It is now in evolution to be my speaker only site.
Then, as an international speaker, teaching a stripped down perspective to health and living younger longer, another branding bestowed upon me with being known as the Naked Vegan for living the lifestyle of my choice for ultimate youth preservation - sure, some vanity reasons but mostly health reasons - as a living or raw foodist, who chooses to only eat plant based foods, or a vegan. I then wanted a way to share the messages in a more direct way to people specifically interested in not only learning from someone who has gone through the transformational process over years mind you, but who has so much to share from my learning. So, I created www.thenakedvegan.com so others can also experience the possibility for themselves with real information.
So back to branding. Saying it like that, as "branding," makes it very clear to me. As a brand on a steer was designed to able to find them or to identify them. So our own personal brand or company brand does just that and the more easily identifiable it is, the more easily we are found! Voila!
Now, just to keep it all straight: the bottom line is, if your name is a one that rolls off the tongue easily, or is easy to recall, or if mentioned in conversation again, would bring your memory back to that person or company, it is a pretty sure bet that what you have is just fine.
Then it comes to if you don't have that, then you would play with options or you could go with the logo design for visual stand out.
Just some thoughts on what I have been experiencing lately with my company rebranding. I hope you enjoy them and can share your experiences with me.
To your enhanced health,
Kimberly
